2010 Calendars

Hi all- the 2010 Bob Doremus Calendar is available.

Bob is a local, famous landscape painter and 12 of his paintings will be on the new "At Water's Edge" Calendar for 2010. These paintings include ocean and lakeshore scenes. The calendars are available as a fund raiser for Trinity United Church of Christ in Union Springs. They are $20.oo a piece. To pay-write a check to Trinity United Church of Christ (earmark Calendar) and mail to Sally Otis, 3067 State Route 34B, Aurora, New York 13026. These are great calendars-they make great Christmas gifts-our family has certainly enjoyed them !

July skies

I love the changing moods of the summer sky at Farley's. Home again and going through photos of the past month, I thought I'd share this isolated rain shower and (I find that I can't resist) a few more sunsets.

Would love to see more "life at Farley's" pics posted

A suggestion: It would be a real treat for those of us who aren't there to be able to see a photo now and then of life at Farley's ... shots of people, kids having fun, recent sunsets, cookouts, cottage makeovers, fish caught, gardens, whatever. The sunset and winter photos below are beautiful—would love to see more!

If any who are so inclined would post occasional pics—posts could be as simple as just the photo and the date—we could accumulate over time a continuing archive of Farley's images, saved for all to enjoy.

Winter Photos

While you are sitting at your computer, nice, warm and cozy, I thought I would share some photos that were forwarded to me. Here are some winter photos of at least 6 juvenile eagles on the Point. There are far too many ducks to count, several thousand! The sleeping swans made an appearance at sunset.
