Eagles at Farley's Point

Thank you very much, Arliss, for the help with posting pictures on the blog.
Your great picture of Basil gets me thinking of
the fun kids and pets have at the lake in the
summer.
I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the
eagles that entertain us here in the winter.
The one in the tree is devouring a duck (notice the duck feet hanging down), and the crows are hovering nearby waiting for leftovers.
We finally have some snow on the ground - fun to be out on the skis, but today the air
temperature is 34 degrees and the wind-chill is 9 degrees - sometimes is seems we live in
a wind tunnel !
Best wishes from the Point,
Dona
